I am a 24-year-old Māori girly from the infamous Hastings Hawkes Bay, and I am a mum of 4 beautiful babies.

I was a very shy kid growing up, hated being on my own and was always stuck to my mum's hip. When I was 17, I fell pregnant with my oldest girl and I had NO Idea where my life was headed, didn't have nothing in mind but to work a 9-5 save up just enough for a home and live an average life until I croaked, I believed that was an okay life. If I'm honest I never once thought of being an entrepreneur, it never even crossed my mind being a business owner.

If you were to ask me WHY I decided to jump in and start a clothing brand with my team? I won't lie, I'd say something along the lines of "Money honey" 😂 because let's be honest everyone thinks of money, but if I were to think of my why on a deeper level? It'll be accomplishment, it'll be pride and above all it'll be family! My why is, when I'm finally old and grey I can look back on my life and feel proud that I've accomplished all that I can and more, that when I leave this earth behind, I know I left my kids a set up for a good start to their life.
